Adventures in Reykjavík

This post written by Smithsonian student Justice

On our first day, we visited the Blue Lagoon! 🇮🇸Throughout that day, we stopped at a few amazing places like the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the boundary point between the Eurasian and the North American Tectonic Plates!

On our second day, we started the day off with an amazing bike trip with our lovely and insightful guide, George! He made quick friends with Venda, both being from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 they had some very interesting conversations about fermented shark 🦈

We got to see the lovely Hárpa Building with 10,000 windows! We then walked around downtown Reykjavik as separate groups, checking out sites and museums around town.

We ended the day with an amazing Lava Show (with real Lava🌋🌋) and a hilarious stand up comedian, Albert, whose show was called How to Become an Icelander in 60 Minutes 🇮🇸

More to come soon!
